I’m Ignazio D Alessandro, the proud owner of Iggy’s Sober Living. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I struggled with addiction but decided to change my life. I was shown that to achieve lasting freedom from addiction; I had to give it away, give back to people, and help others on their journey into recovery.

My journey began in 2011, and over the past decade, I have been directly helping suffering addicts rebuild their lives. I have raised many from the depths of addiction and transformed agonizing addicts and distraught families into a life of new meaning, new connectedness with each other, and, most importantly, a new direction and purpose.

Watching clients overcome their demons and repair their relationships with family, employers, friends, etc., is what I thrive on and find most rewarding. My business philosophy is honesty is the best policy.

Why I’ve been successful

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my core ethics of respecting all clients, listening to them, and providing a successful treatment plan for their everyday living. I attribute my success to my experience, honesty, knowledge of addiction, and the available resources to combat the issue.

Recently, watching a client receiving their one-year medallion of being clean and sober gave me immense satisfaction.

During my downtime

When I am not at work, I think it’s essential to relax and enjoy the successes of my hard work. I also believe in giving back to society, and as part of that belief, I believe mental health needs more attention from the government. I advocate for the government to spend money on resources for people with addiction and mental health issues.
