Known affectionately by his recovered clients and friends as “Iggy”, his lifelong aspirations is to be fully present and fully responsible to those who seek help from addiction and substance abuse.
Iggy has stood on the firing line directly helping suffering addicts rebuild their lives, raising many from their bottoms in addiction and transforming agonizing addicts and distraught families into a life of new meaning, new connectedness with each other, and most importantly a new direction and purpose.
Iggy came to this profession has a result of his own addiction. His remarkable story of personal resurrection from hopeless addict to recovery inoculated in Iggy, a deep desire to give back what was given to him the joy of living, the reconnection to his family and friends, and a rebirth from despairing wretch to a man with purpose and love.
At an age where most people would be planning their retirement, Iggy pursued a career in the field of addiction and courageously returned to college. This watershed moment in Iggy’s life has produced a man with a ceaseless pursue to help others receive the miracle of recovery he himself experienced. The combination of personal experience and higher education has naturally led to Iggy working on the front lines in both the rehab and sober living universe. Extrapolating from his years of experience in the field, Iggy has paralyzed this into a new phase in his journey to help others.
